  2. A Rose Parade float to celebrate the Tournament of Rose 50th birthday?

  3. The only time there was a total eclipse during the Rose Parade - January 1925. The only float that was illuminated celebrated the Diamond Jubilee of the first organized indoor game of ice hockey, played between two pick-up teams at the Victoria Skating Rink in Montreal (March, 1875). The competing teams were created using miners from Montreal's newly discovered diamond mines under what would become Montreal Olympic Stadium. Sadly, the mines went bust by 1890, but Hockey went on to be Canada's national sport...
